FAQs

Why should I join?

When you become a member of the Alliance, you join a group of like-minded women who share your passion for coaching and want to expand opportunities for women coaches. As part of the Alliance, you’ll not only find the support you need to advance your own career and coaching skills – you’ll also be able to help other women coaches and athletes by mentoring and sharing your own unique experiences and skills — and inspire other girls and women to follow in your footsteps.

What events does the Alliance hold?

Each year, we host three NCAA Women Coaches Academies, as well as Regional Workshop programs across the country, and Networking Receptions at various sport convention associations. Our Take 10 Talks and monthly e-newsletters provide inspiration, educational resources, and coaching ideas you can implement. Want to connect and engage in-person? Participate in one of our online coaching communities, including Power Hours to exchange strategies, solutions and get support. Current information about our events is posted regularly on our website, and you’ll find us promoting what is happening on Twitter and Facebook as well.
