Julie Foudy is one of the most accomplished soccer players in the world. She was a four-time All-American at Stanford University, a two-time FIFA World Cup Champion (1991, 1999), a two-time Olympic gold medalist (1996, 2004), a captain of the U.S. Women’s National Team for 13 years, and was inducted into the U.S. National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2007. Foudy is a co-founder of the Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative (BAWSI), the Owner/Director of the Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy, and a published author. She is currently a writer, commentator and reporter for ESPN and espnW.

 

Marlene Bjornsrud’s career over the past 35 years has included leadership roles in several facets of the sports industry, including a collegiate national championship tennis coach and an athletics administrator at Grand Canyon and Santa Clara Universities. She was the first General Manager of the San Jose CyberRays of the professional Women’s United Soccer Association (WUSA), where her team won the inaugural WUSA championship. Bjornsrud is a co-founder of BAWSI and a former Executive Director for the Alliance of Women Coaches.
